Whenever we send or receive packet the packet pass through the router.
By using this tracert command we can fine how many router are there between the sender and receive computer and how long it will takes to reach the destination.
Example now we are compare Google and yahoo search engine server speed.
Open the command prompt and type
tracert google.com
tracert yahoo.com
After comparing goggle and yahoo.
Google faster than yahoo.
Because google it will take less time to reach the server. But yahoo it will take long time to reach the server.
