intel 3 vs intel 5 vs intel 7

many times we are pretty confuse regarding to buy cpu.
which is good in performance? which has good graphics ? how many cores it has ?
and the main point the price so here complete discriptioin  about the intels three cpu's i3, i5 and i7.

so enjoy it...

Core i3 series:-

The Core i3 Processors are the in pocket options due to there cheaper prices.
Unlike it’s successors i3 has a dual core processor whereas i5 and i7 work on quad corer.

Core i3 also lacks many other features like the Turbo Boost.
Turbo Boost is the most hyped and the key feature of the Core i series but it is not available in i3 series.
The turbo boost enables the processor to increase the CPU’s clock speed on demand.

Core i3 and i5 also lack Hyper Threading which is a technique to improvise parallelization of computations. In Hyper Threading each processor core that is physically present, the operating system addresses two virtual processors, and shares the workload between them when possible i.e. the windows will display a dual core processor as if it had quad cores.

Core i3 processors also lack Intel's vPro technology virtualizaton and AES encryption acceleration technology.

Core i3M: Lower-end Dual-Core
The Core i3 mobile processor consists of the following technologies: Please note that not all models include those technologies.
- Intel Hyper-Threading Technology
- Intel Smart Cache Technology
- Intel Integrated Memory Controller
- Intel HD Graphics
- Intel Virtualization Technology

For a advanced user the lack of Intel’s vPro technology virtualizaton and AES encryption acceleration technology also counts.Though a average user might not be affected by these features but still it has some reasonable importance.

Finally, Core i3 processors have their integrated graphics processor restricted to a maximum clock speed of 1100 MHz, and all Core i3 processors have the 2000 series IGP, which is restricted to 6 execution cores. This will result in slightly lower IGP performance overall, but the difference is frankly inconsequential in many situations.

Core i5 series:-

The i5 processors at the first which belonged to Core i series based on Nehalem structure were divided into two categories,One which were dual core with turbo boost and other which were quad core and had turbo boost.

But now this problem is solved as the new Sandy Bridge architecture based i5 processors are Quad core with turbo boost. The i5 processors still lack the Hyper threading option which was explained in the earlier paragraph. The Clock speed of the i5 processors ranges between 2.8 Ghz to 3.3 Ghz and the price also increases directly with increase in clocking speed.

Core i5M: Mainstream Dual-Core
The Core i5 mobile processor consists of the following technologies: Please note that not all models include those technologies.
- Intel Hyper-Threading Technology
- Intel Smart Cache Technology
- Intel Integrated Memory Controller
- Intel HD Graphics
- Intel Virtualization Technology
- Intel Turbo Boost Technology
- Intel Intelligent Anti-Theft Technology

note:-Intel has introduced a dual-core Core i5 called the 2390t

Core i7 series:-

The core i7 with Sandy bridge architecture is coming up with only two models.

The basic difference between the i3,i5 vs i7 is the Hyper threading which makes it able to use 8 cores making it work faster but for most of the average users the eight cores are hardly recognizable as it is mostly used in 3D rendering and photo editing softwares, scientific and higher engineering softwares etc.

The rest of the features which distinguishes it from i3 and i5 are also not very effective for an average use.

Core i7M: Mainstream Quad-Core

The Core i7 mobile processor consists of the following technologies: Please note that not all models include those technologies.

- Intel Hyper-Threading Technology

- Intel Smart Cache Technology

- Intel Integrated Memory Controller

- Intel HD Graphics (excluding Core i7-720QM, Core i7-820QM)

- Intel Virtualization Technology

- Intel Turbo Boost Technology

- Intel Intelligent Anti-Theft Technology

My Conclusion:-

So in the battle between the three i3 vs i5 vs i7, we think that the i5 processors are putting up a higher hand as they have Quad cores for higher speeds,Turbo boost for extra speedy performance and quite a fit in the pocket pricetags than the i7 processors.

There you have it, all the underlying technology powering the latest generation of microprocessors from Intel. For students and everyday computing purposes, i recommend the Core i3M or Core i5M series.
